The times are-a-changing
consequences long-ranging
a new trail blazing
hopes and fears raising
trying to embrace each challenge I face
set in my old ways
compromise not just a phase
relinquishing some control
a difficult role
I'm becoming part of a team
not as easy as it seems
losing my security blanket
love came and yanked it
looking forward to a new adventure
I anticipate with pleasure
hoping for peace and harmony
a big word matrimony
