Poem -

Lime Green Walls

You
Invited me
Into your nightmare, where
I helped you paint the walls
Lime green,
A favourite of yours, from a
bygone age,
I splashed lavender
Which will never
Be seen

Of course it won't, this is your
place to scream
Your very own angst in your own
nightmare dream
Still...

I would run to you anywhere, be
any place you are
To be with you at least, hold you
up, hold your hand, know...

We'll repaint those walls
When the beasts burn them black
You and I... ever both...
Shall we brave all attack
