To Mend

     I had a thought 
about (words) 
and The Book
The way He designed It
and the years and years it took
From beginning to end

     I had to think 
about the power
of words
They can stir up emotion
by just being heard
and you can be Cleansed

     I had to think 
and read The Word 
from That Book
To my surprise 
That’s all that it took
For my heart and soul
To Mend
