Poem -

TO ROAM A DAY

It is perhaps the loneliest place
That ever was
The most desolate space
In which to pause
To infinity and back there is no door
Seeking yearning evermore
Though we roam alone
Untethered small
Seeking a path
A voice  a call
An endless search for all things gone
For all things unknown
Though we roam alone
Searching a comfort, a place of rest
A meaning in life, a home  a nest
A price indeed
That we must pay
What price to pay
To roam a day
Though we roam alone
Ever alone.

Hi Marion...In our own thoughts we can find the loneliest place...thinking of those things and incidences that have brought us there...the memories of the past that lead us to that really desolate place of mind....It can be very unsettling...I have been there.  I think trying to find purpose and reasons are the two hardest things to roam around looking for,...but perhaps rewarding in the end.  I hope so, anyway.  Lol  I enjoyed. xo ;)
