Poem -

TO ROAM A DAY

It is perhaps the loneliest place
That ever was
The most desolate space
In which to pause
To infinity and back there is no door
Seeking yearning evermore
Though we roam alone
Untethered small
Seeking a path
A voice  a call
An endless search for all things gone
For all things unknown
Though we roam alone
Searching a comfort, a place of rest
A meaning in life, a home  a nest
A price indeed
That we must pay
What price to pay
To roam a day
Though we roam alone
Ever alone.
