Poem -

TO THE DUST I SHALL RETURN

TO THE DUST I SHALL RETURN

DEATH MUST BE THE SWEETEST OF DREAMS
FOREVER LAYING IN THE ARMS OF THE EARTH
BENEATH THE  CHAOS OF LIFE’S TOIL.

ADORNED BY THE QUIET BEAUTY
OF EDEN’S GARDEN
CAPTIVATING THE EYES AND THOUGHTS
OF THOSE LEFT BEHIND.

BUT UNAWARE,
THAT THE LILIES, ROSES,
BLADES OF GRASS AND DAFFODILS
ARE ALL NOURISHED BY THE SOULS
THAT SLEEPS
BENEATH THE NIGHTS SHADOW.

WILFORD BARKER.
