TOFFEE AND TEETH

Let me tell you all about a lady named Ruth
She got a sticky toffee stuck on her tooth
Whatever she tried it did not budge
Wishing no doubt she had a piece of fudge

Upstairs she went her teeth she did brush
Hoping it would turn the toffee into mush
Up and down the toothbrush went
The days of the toffee were finally spent

Ruth went to bed happy that chilly night
The toffee had disappeared from sight
Toffee and teeth are not the best mix
She must try other things for her sweet fix
