TOM "GINGER" NEIL

TOM "GINGER" NEIL

What a very upsetting and sad occasion it is today
One of the last remaining fighter pilots has passed away
Known to his mates as good as good old Ginger
He put the Germans through the ringer

Tom "Ginger " Neil was in Squadron 249 in WW2
He fought for freedom for me and you
Tom received the Distinguished Flying Cross
When it came to flying he was certainly the boss

In life everyone shall live and everyone shall die
Always remember Ginger when you look at the sky
