TOMATOES

I did not wish to save him
For he was rotten
Like the festering tomatoes
In our garden house

A maggoty red
Which bleed seeds
Like the mush of brains
Onto the floor

So when he slipped on the landing
After pushing me around
Tearing at my clothes
Pawing and leering
With a truly evil frown
And was dangled there
Looking rather silly

In a puppets grotesque dance
Well.... I saw my chance

He fell like a clumsy dancer
Who had slipped performing a twirl
Arms and legs flapping about
And screaming like a girl!!
And the impact
Oh the shuddering final impact!!
He was really rather stout
And full of the gout
And....  squashed

Just like the festering tomatoes
In our garden house
A maggoty red
Bleeding seeds
Like mushy brains

Onto the floor.
