" Tomorrow's Spring Morning "

There's a sense of counting the days
In Autumn sways
The slow roasting chestnuts
The gold, and the greens gathering
At the base
Of trees
While the chill in the air
Is crisp
And so delicious
That the promise of Season's Overcoat
Seems a threat
And the coming of winter
A whisper
That reminds my senses
That fall
Is in the air this day
And perhaps a memory
In tomorrows
Spring morning
Of lovely
Possibilities....

Wow, lovely poem *:)
Hey Yssebelle!!........thanx for taking the time with this sweet poetess!!..........hugs-n-smiles......T xx
Halleluiah! T, bring on the spring! In the words of George Harrison "Here comes the sun...it feels like years since it's been here...." how goes the fight, my talented, cerebral brother?
Yes indeed, when the poets speak of spring, the heart has reason to leap with rejoicing...I've been away from my birthplace in the sun for over forty years now, living and finding a home on ice and snow and for the most part knowing happiness; even with the biting cold, but T it's been one hell of a miserable winter...So thank you for the reminder of the coming sun....Tone, vibrant and optimistic; take me away summer... like the format you chose to use here as well...T, always a joyread....ttyl
