It was our first kiss in the rain
Which began my thirst for you!

I've never been more truer
Than in this moment…
Never been more me
Slipping into you
Delighting in the taste
Of your smiling lips as we
Realize the night is taking
Us deeper into ourselves;
And desire beckons
From the DJ's turntable
As the love spells he spins
Permeates the air…
Your arms tighten
And I press closer.
I can hear you thinking;
Pressing your thoughts deep.
Taking me in this moment
As we dance our first
Married swing and sway.
It seems I've loved
You all of my life….
You are my private supply…
My secret "ism"!
I need you more than
I had thought possible.

This is just our first time into forever!

hey Valerie, a beautiful tone to this poem, feeling the romance in every line...pure quality, I actually enjoyed this poem quite a lot; surprising myself since I'm not a fan of all romantic writes, however this one hums and pulls the reader into fresh creative points of view....these pull quoted lines made me smile, terrific post...cheers
