TOPSY TURVY TOWn

 
Just another day in topsy turvy town 
People lived there did things the wrong way round 
In this poem you will clearly see 
Things are very different from normality 
 
The residents of this town always started their day 
By putting water on cornflakes is unusual some would say 
Burnt sausages and burnt toast completed their meal 
To the residents of this town it was no big deal 
 
So onto work and that was quite unusual too 
When people arrived there was nothing for them to do 
The working day was over by the setting of the sun 
The topsy turvy people knew that their working day was done 
 
Time to go home without car or bus 
Walking home backwards without any problems or fuss 
Now time to relax would soon be time for bed 
These people of topsy turvy town chose to lie on the floor instead
