The Torso

The Torso

While out in the woods hunting one day
a pile of flesh lay in my way
was this from a movie...I could not say...

Maggot infested from months in the shade
this lump before me was rot and decay

I could not hide my dismay
so dropped to my knees and started to pray
another soul lost to a tragic way..
what's going on in this world today

I should of run...but I had to stay
the stench was so bad...even rats stayed away....

You see many things in the woods in may
but nothing that lays at my feet today
I wondered who this used to be
not much of it left...you could clearly see...

There won't be any more hunting for me
you'll find me at home
in front of t.v......
