Poem -

Tortured Soul

It's taken quite a toll

Has me questioning my heart

The reality is haunting me

Not quite sure where to start

Looking at myself

How did I get here?

Guiding those I love

Staying true to what is real

Accepting what I can't control

Letting go and having faith

I have to trust my spirit

I have to trust that space

I've learnt a lot about myself

Struggling with the doubt

Trying to find my centre

Looking for an out

I've brought myself back in

Focused on what I truly know

That everything I've given

Is not something that I owe

It's who I am

And who I'll be

The truth will set me free

It's time to trust the faith

They will be what they will be
