Poem -

Tortured soul

sickened and tortured thoughts dwell inside

Manifesting quickly almost unable to hide

Tangled emotions but not wanting to cry

And alone with nobody to confide

With holding back tears only to sigh

Choking in sorrows stuck gazing deep into the sky

Wondering to oneself how to push on ahead

Trying to focus on the positive but instead

Your thought to only be hanging on by just a thread

Pain seems unbarable but strenghth used is all

to persistantly fight these battles we stall

To pick ourselves back up remaining to keep our heads held tall

And if you ever feel like you keep running into a brick wall

Remember whose got your back to pick you up when you fall

Hey MICHAEL BERNT!!......insightful piece here....... great sense of rhythm and timing in your delivery...... fighting with the inner turmoil of life's trials and tribulations can be tough to voice aloud...... and like you so aptly pointed out..... it's wise to. "Remember whose got your back to pick you up when you fall"..... compelling write with some powerful phrasing......ALL STARS...... well done...... and .....WELCOME to COSMO!!.....T xo.  ?
