Tragedy & Disaster turns out to be an amazing blessing...

As I was walking away I hear an extremely loud sound.

I spun around with an racing heart, and there my daddy was lying on the ground.

 My only thoughts were, are you going to be alright daddy? Why did this have to happen to you?

I immediately started screaming and tears were flooding my eyes, because at ten years old I was too frightened to know what to do.

My step mom came flying out of the house demanding me to tell her what I was screaming about.

Before she could say another word she had caught an unforgettable glimpse of my daddy and put the raging flames out.

That night I stayed home with my sister so innocent and young waiting patiently for my daddy to come home.

Suddenly, I began to weep.

But then I eventually drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I awoke and ran to the living room so excited to see my daddy sitting there.

I looked around he was no where.

Right there and then I knew he had be taken.

And my heart it was breaking.

To this day I carry him with me in my heart.

Because I never could apart.

But it hurts me so bad, and makes me extremely sad.

But I know he is safe with Jesus in heaven.

And Jesus is the best thing he could have ever had.

He is no longer suffering, hurting, or drinking his life away anymore.

I know he was proud to be knocking on heavens door.

Like a bird he soared.
