Trails of light.

In the light of the sun where the birds do sing, in wintering warmer days

I found myself in the deepest love, in that place that always stays

There I sort to hold you even in your absent flesh

My heart and yours forever woven so neatly intermeshed

I found the bravery trails of light within your bluest eyes And dipped my hand within the stillness of lakes with shadowed skies

Only to move the tides of love, and cascade my vows in little tears, in the light of all things considered I've loved you all these years

And so on death means nothing not where love had laid to rest, I keep you safe within my heart, a guard upon my chest

In this life and all the ways A greater good shall hold it fast, and I with the memories true, shall love you more in present and of past

The very point to knowing Such a love endures all the pain, and i shall withstand the agony of you leaving And see you once again in time,

when all the colours of our love so swiftly come to blend, only then shall I my love, with you I come to mend.
