Trapped

Trapped

I'm suffocating in the air
of my own thoughts

Drowning in the pool of my
too familiar mind

Crying the words of
my hidden secrets

Feeling the pain
of unknown depths

Isolated as a weed in
a field of roses

Lost in the forest of
life that we live

Cold nest to the warmth
of familiar fire

Unconscious to the happiness
that is hidden inside
