TRAPPED WHALE

Stranded at sea I'm a long way from home
Missing the freedom to wander and roam
My home is usually an ocean so far away
How did I end up in the River Thames today ?

I am in distress surely I've made that clear
Won't see my parents I'm starting to fear
Rescue me help me please please call a vet
I don't belong in England it's making me fret

So a vet was called to try and revive this whale
An unsuccessful mission and the vet did fail
Such a sad story I had tears when I read
The poor trapped whale tangled on a riverbed
