treading water

I can predict the future
I can, when I turn up at work
and see an ~Agency Nurse
and an Agency carer..
I can predict the next 12 hours
is going to be horrific.
and, often I am right
as one sticks to being a Nurse
the other does as little as possible
and takes four times longer..
they don't realise
there is so much to do
taking too much time on one job
doesnt move us forward..
it puts us four times behind..
and this is the difference ..
I have to get the job done..
they just have to put time in.
so I sit in handover
predicting the future...
wishing it was already 08.00
