Treated Like Royalty

Treated Like Royalty

Each subtle swirl,
ripple and wave
salts my solar breath

Each perfect puff,
breeze and gale
ruffles my dense sand

The neverending
anthology that be you,
shapes my rouge island

New palettes of hues
stain my canvass
with ceaseless surprises

Every gracious gift:
a tome, in an epoch
folded within a tale,
inside a poem,
in a parable,
a word

You are Lord of the tardis
who allowed yourself to be
a tiny golden key

Your love undoes all the locks
that have been trapping my soul

I see it through the peephole of the moon
and my entire existence trembles

Your light is the most gentle caress
I have never felt compelled
beyond my will

You understood my very good
even though I was a mess

I am your queendom into which
you came as a camel shed of riches

I am the haven of your spirit
and you my Lover are forever
the heavenly kingdom of mine
