Trial with a smile?

Strive ahead with determination
never go down the slippery slope

yet give something your best shot, that’s all is expected of you

If at first you don’t succeed try, try again, though the very thought of this does appear to sound insane

They do say God loves a trier, so if you fail on your first attempt
Pause, plan, do it all again 
Never be put off by fool-hardy contempt

Then that feeling of utter satisfaction shall make one’s efforts all worth while, you have conquered all of your demons coming to the end of the trial with a smile
