Tribe of the ‘Big Brown Bear’

Tribe of the ‘Big Brown Bear’

Little Copper Joe was an Indian boy
With his feathered headdress
& his tomahawk toy
He followed his Father around everywhere
Mardi Gras ‘Big Chief’ of ‘The Big Brown Bear

They lived in a ‘Big Brown Bear’ skin tepee
His Mother was Adoette meaning ‘Strong as a tree’
‘A tribe of the wind’ from Montana, USA
Father defended at night & hunted allday

Generations of this tribe had ruled this land
With white horses for each man
& tomahawks in their hand
Copper Joe wanted to be a warrier
Even though he was only six
Tho his daily job at the moment
Was collecting the firewood sticks

But when brave Copper Joe grew from small to tall
He had great plans to be a  warrier & lead them all
So until that day he would learn from his Dad
He didn’t mind chopping the kindling, but collecting the logs was bad

Rollon the day when he turned sixteen
Copper Joe would be a man
He could marry an Indian Queen
They would own their own tepee
Hopefully have a papoose or three
Living as the ‘Big Brown Bear’ tribe as content as could be
