True Love

I had lived a petty life

arranged it by default

sometimes lucky

sometimes insane

a roller coaster doing somersaults

on sand dunes grain

i now chase a pretty life

through the orchestra of love

sometimes bleeding

sometimes cut

a symphony of crescendo's

of doors that have been shut

until the sun melts the icecap

and dawns brings new chorus

waking me to believe

that true love is out there

and its out there for me

As i climb inside beauty

and hide from my fears

till I'm open and calling

beneath the forgotten years

oh love come and lift me

the stars shine on you

you've pushed me to find myself

now love has shone through

my darling your with me

till the last days on earth

it will be your name i whisper

when i draw my last breath
