"The Truth Does Not Exist?"

The TRUTH does not exist
For existence itself is fleeting
At best,
For many, time moves so fast
That understanding one's environment
Is so far down on the list
Of "things to do"
That death comes knocking
Before the tasks upon the list
Are but wishes
That never "really" existed
In the first place,
The Truth does not exist
Except in the wishes
Of persistence....
