Poem -

turn away

turn away

drops of water rushing down my cheeks
girls laughing and pointing
boys giving dirty looks
me in the corner sitting
knees upon my face
stand up,
fall from my lace
all of a sudden all I hear is laughter
see pure black
wipe my eyes and try to smile
everyone just stares
I get up, suddenly get pushed down again
feeling down and hurt,
I slowly walk away
kids with their  phones recording every second
go outside,
sit under a tree,
and sob
suddenly I hear a voice
confused, I stand up and see this guy pointing out his hand
I give him my hand,
he lifts me up and smiles
I smile back
he asks if I'm ok
I say I'm fine
he smiles
he holds my hand and pushes me so I can walk with him
I feel nervous
he asks if anyone hurt me
I lie
he says he has to go
I feel happy again
