Turning A Page

However hard that I may try

It is impossible for me not to cry

It can happen anywhere

This sudden lapse into despair

Why seems a complete mystery

Perhaps it is due to my history

Some think it's because of my age

I wonder if it's because I've turned a page !

Keeping emotions hidden for so long

Trying to disguise what was wrong

I appeared to be as strong as steel

But inside I knew what was real

Circumstance is always testing me

So at breaking point I let others see

Stresses can get the better of you

To ones self you've got to be honest and true !
