IN A TURNING SLEEP

IN A TURNING SLEEP

Wind between the eyes of beauty

passing through

the doors of my envious heart

I see you as the plain air

invigorating

my shadows with your movement

and the taste of love is pungent

laying against

the albatross of successors.

To understand the tongue

would be to chisel away at my interior

for the benefit

of Grace lays in her casket

as I stand crouched.

I pray to God and to no man I owe.

I pray for Salvation

and the redemption of mankind’s woe.

Sparkling songs whose velvet sheen

scrapes away

at the tarnishing of my Soul

I feel the ambiguous moon

postulating in her cavities pronounced.

I will drink from the Virgin

and succumb

to her ovarian pleasures

for I am a Man out of time.

To acknowledge my mind’s eye

engagements

must be without judgment

as I see all as transparent beings.

I pray that God has a purpose for me.

Mankind's legacies

are corrupted by murderous plights.

I pray that in a turning sleep … we embroider.

Wicked is the one that unstitches …
