IN A TURNING SLEEP

IN A TURNING SLEEP
Ricardo Antonio Garcia
Wind between the eyes of beauty
passing through
the doors of my envious heart
I see you as the plain air
invigorating
my shadows with your movement
and the taste of love is pungent
laying against
the albatross of successors.
To understand the tongue
would be to chisel away at my interior
for the benefit
of Grace lays in her casket
as I stand crouched.
I pray to God and to no man I owe.
I pray for Salvation
and the redemption of mankind’s woe.
Sparkling songs whose velvet sheen
scrapes away
at the tarnishing of my Soul
I feel the ambiguous moon
postulating in her cavities pronounced.
I will drink from the Virgin
and succumb
to her ovarian pleasures
for I am a Man out of time.
To acknowledge my mind’s eye
engagements
must be without judgment
as I see all as transparent beings.
I pray that God has a purpose for me.
Mankind's legacies
are corrupted by murderous plights.
I pray that in a turning sleep … we embroider.
Wicked is the one that unstitches …
