Poem -

Twelve

~~You’ve said her name again
I’ve been counting
What number will you get to?,
Before I decide this won’t do
Love doesn’t live here anymore
My heart sinks down to the floor
Your mind is else where
Where ever she may be
She gets all your care
You no longer care for me
I love you so much
I don’t want to go
But what we had is over; I feel nothing when we touch
This hurts me so
I’m packing my bags, I leave tonight
Maybe you’ll stop me, maybe I’ll cancel my flight
But you smile at your phone, at a text from her
I’m going now, I’m sad it’s her you prefer.
