Poem -
twilight's dusk
and is it really so much
to ask for
justΒ a slice or two of
twilight's dusk
and gods can spare thisΒ
they have more than
enough
for all gods are rich in
these ways
I would wish not to linger
so away from the light
but sometimes a soul
has not much will to fight
just away...away...
just away from such light
to a haven of purplish,
maybe pinkish delight
and gods can spare thisΒ
this so small quiet place
where a soul might do
thinkingΒ
on the life death disgrace
maybe...
form some conclusion, find
a point to it all
perchance, reach some
decision
on just which god
to call
