“Twit twoo”

“Twit twoo”

“Twit twoo”
I looked around as I heard a familiar sound
and there right infront of me perched on the grassy ground
was the most beautiful barn owl I had ever seen
and I see alot of them flying thru the countryside betwixt and between

“Twit twoo”
My feathered friend called out again
I dared not move a muscle as it was fluttering now and then
I had never seen such a sensational sight so close
The uniqueness of his silhouette stood out in the shadows

His entire neck rotated around
silently yet subtly as it twisted and unwound
Wow what a blessing and a sheer delight
as I was wandering through the woodlands on a wonderful night
