TWO LADS IN A BOAT

They spent whole days
rocking boats
Trailing hands in the water
Causing a turbulence, where
They really shouldn't oughta

Skimming rocks instead of
pebbles
Splashing at fish
Trying to catch far off whales
In a tupperware dish
Spindly and laughing and
brown as two nuts
Oblivious to grown ups
handing out tuts

Two lads on adventure
Monsters assured, though
the years would be long
Before that would be true
For now... they're just
