Two Lives Are In Ruins

A boy was allergic to shellfish but nobody knew about his allergy.
I fed the boy crab and he died and his father tried to murder me.
When the boy started getting sick, I immediately called 911.
The paramedics couldn't get to my house and I killed my neighbor's son.
After that boy died, his father shot me in the back.
I didn't die but I'm paralyzed because of the attack.
The paramedics couldn't get to my house because I was snowed in.
When I learned I was paralyzed, I cried because I'll never walk again.
When the boy ate the crab, I was babysitting for my neighbor at the time.
My neighbor will spend twenty years behind bars for committing his crime.
I was babysitting because my neighbor and his new wife went on their honeymoon.
That poor boy was only five years old and when he lost his life, he died far too soon.
I'm having a very hard time living with myself because I accidentally killed that boy.
When you see tears rolling down my cheeks, you will know that I'm not feeling joy.
That horrible incident has brought about a lot of pain and has also left scars.
Two lives are in ruins, I'm paralyzed and my neighbor is rotting behind bars.

Shivers, a Stephen King, were it fleshed out. I think the genre is narrative, though
