Two lost souls

Two lost souls
Two lost souls floating drifting around in space
They had no goals they were a disgrace
 friends and family were ashamed
They would not even help them said they were to blame
Trash penniless no cash
Both were drowning but making no splash
Nowhere to go no one wanted to be with them for free
Even take them for the holidays or over for tea
Both have broken hearts have given up on love too old too far apart
If you tell yourself over and over again you start to think it's true
That you’re cursed and you will always be unhappy and blue
Two lost souls floating drifting around in space
They had no goals they were a disgrace
 friends and family were ashamed
They would not even help them said they were to blame
Trash penniless no cash
Both were drowning but making no splash
Then one day they went bump in the light
One came from the left and one came from the right
But when they bumped there was such a spark
It sent both of them in separate directions into the park
They both look at each other twice
They scratch their head thought each other look nice
But they left one went that way and the other a different way
The problem about running away you always come back someday
And if fate meant for these two lost souls to drift endlessly in the void
Then why did fate open the gate to let them meet the first time and now they avoid
Each other like the plague to scared and confused to even talk
But like chance if you roll the dice long enough you're going to Walk The Walk
Two lost souls floating drifting around in space
They had no goals they were a disgrace
 friends and family were ashamed
They would not even help them said they were to blame
Trash penniless no cash
Both were drowning but making no splash
And the two lost souls management each other the third time
Beach asking the other for a dime
They we're not lost no more
Time to close the door
