Poem -

two sides

She had never been one to speak.

Although she had a lot on her mind.

Her silence hid her away.

She hid it all away .

Everyone around her saw only a ghost, a

Shell of who she was.

But she could not hide from it.

Her blank face a mask.

                                                     Her mask slowly cracking.

A shield to protect her from the world.

Her protection could not save her anymore.

The hardships and burdens of life,

pounding and banging against her.

She was so tired, so tired.

Pushing. Fighting. Screaming

                                                    Begging. Pleading. Crying.
