Ujjain

Latitude and Longitude

Dirt and earth
Soil and stone

Iron in my flesh
Carbon in my bones

Crack open a can
Pop open my crown

Fresh blood flowing
Seat of heart to drown

A footstool for a star
A light in white robe splattered

With my split soulseed
And all its ego shattered

Tattered
Scattered
As if it never mattered

Atomic altar struck hard
It generates our tale

Upon the ocean of death
We set sail
We sail
Sail

Gliding on a murky stream

Meandering through the void
Like a leaf evergreen

An emerald adama

Searching for land

To imprint these grooves
The ones on the palm my hand

My finger a stylus
To conduct a new command

And write story after story
Deep in sacred oak

Ring upon ring
With rain after rain

From autum to spring
Where I am born

Again and again
