Українці ніколи не схилять голови,
Для тих, хто прагне подолати.
Вони ніколи не дадуть землі легко,
Для тих, хто недбає про порушення.
Вони ніколи не будуть говорити про хвороби,
Про свою Батьківщину і її народ
Українці ніколи раніше не стануть на коліна,
Тирани, диктатори і гнобителі.
Вони ніколи не будуть говорити про будь-які біди,
Боягузи і низьке моральне волокно.
Українці будуть боротися з ними вічно,
Вони ніколи, ніколи не здадуться.
І якщо шанси непереборні,
Вони мужньо помруть, намагаючись.
Бо добра смерть – це його власна нагорода.
Це вже для всіх українців.
Продовжуйте боротися, бо темрява ніколи не виграє вчасно.
Світло і мир переможуть.
Hехай Бог благословить і збереже всіх вас і буде стежити за Україною.

Ukrainians
Ukrainians will never bow their heads,
To those who seek to overcome.
They will never yield ground easily,
To any who trespass carefree.
They will never speak any ills,
Of their motherland and its people.
Ukrainians will never kneel before,
Tyrants, dictators and oppressors.
They will never band with bullies,
Cowards or low moral fibre.
Ukrainians will fight them forever,
They will never, never give up.
And if the odds are unsurmountable,
They will courageously die trying.
For a good death is its own reward.

And respect is a two way street with regards and thoughts to current sad and unsettling climate of fear events on the people and country of Ukraine.
Hey Shaun...I was over at a friends earlier and I couldn't get my comment to post...but I'm home now and I could have sworn there was a different ending to this piece.....Oh well, it's most excellent regardless.....but my memory says I liked that other ending with the vulgarity....I hope Im not remembering some other ending from another poem LOL!!........it';s kinda late here so "Who Knows"!!?...smiles......love your stuff....always will.......peace.....T xo : )
Tony many thanks for your superb comment and you are right in a way for this is based on earlier poem I wrote and I rewrote in places to achieve this.
I did use an online translating site also.
The best I could find after viewing certain unsettling images from the Ukraine and its innocent, uprooted peoples.
History tell us that humankind repeats itself and also tyrants, sooner or later are toppled.

This is modern day 21st century Europe and an egotistical monster is on the prowl.
