I asked the moon a question today
I should’ve known not to wait
For a word, a mere forming of thought
Maybe i was blinded
This light, so bright I couldn’t see
Anything else
I thought it may be that past
All that mesmerising beauty
Hid a meaning so profound
It could only be the answer

Maybe I was naive,

Maybe even ignorant.
