Uncle

Uncle
An uncle is define as ones father or mothers brother.
However, you were our uncle, big brother and father figure.
We all looked up to you, you were like a famous person to us.
You helped to mold us into the adults we are today.
It was our Uncle Dee who pushed us all the way.
The day you were taken away from us is a day we remember like yesterday.
If only heaven was a mile away, we would be on our way.
It’s not a day that goes by that we don’t keep your memories alive.
Your words of wisdom you preached to us is how we survive.
We all knew the day would come and you would have to close your eyes.
We didn’t expect you to be taken so suddenly.
You’re now an angel in heaven.
Watching over and protecting us.
We love you Uncle Dee and always have your memories to cherish.
Our love for you will never perish.
