Undone

Still and calm
On the breathing loch
Rested my arm
'Pon a familiar rock
I gazed at the Artist of ashen sky
Erasing himself, with gentlest tears
Perplexed indeed
Just as to why
Slime on walls sparkled friendly stars
No need for a name like "Saturn" or "Mars"
I wanted for nothing; just drank it all in
Wrapped in black and knowing no sin
But the light pointed over,
Far away from prying sun
To a misty foggy patch,
Where adventure soon begun
I was beckoned, "arise and follow"
And some intrigue 'came evoked
Now I hungered for tomorrow
And desired to get "woke"
Little did I know the horror
Lay beyond my cozy bubble
Little did I understand
'Bout sorrow, strife and trouble
When I stepped into the background noise
I encountered orphaned girls and boys
It was a world of grunt and hiss
A sordid realm of shit and piss
But that was life beyond my grave
A place of curse and scream
Wanted to leave that hellish home
And go back to my dream
Yet something held me to the task
And so I dropped my breasts
And gave good suck to as many 'twere able
So they might find some rest
And they drank my blood and ate my skin
Till they united as brood of kith and kin
When strong enough to run their race
They turned to the path my feet had traced
And so, that's how I 'got undone,
Upon that hidden hill
Where justice cried out night and day,
And the blest did got their fill

wow! powerful write al! your gifted strokes of the pen are deep!...............Jim
Wow al this is one woven poetic feast. For me I felt the decomposition and spiritual shift of the human body and it’s soul. Wonderfully narrated and poetically conveyed. A great write
