Unfamiliar Love

Unfamiliar Love

Age?, Time?

If these determine love

Then color me blind because

I've found a place

Where my existence itself

Is a blessing to those around me

And the demons that surrounded me

In the past, have long since passed

And I find thatĀ time comes last

It's humorous how

Unfamiliar love can beat what you

Thought was familiar love

And it may not make sense but I'll say

That this love I've found

I'll take my chances and trust

Because this love is profound

Mysterious and adventurous

TheĀ romance of a youth you might say

But consider these words, I pray

"Would you settle for a love

Less than that which you deserve?" ~ CO
