Unfit Dad

A father has been out of work and he was a scientist.
Some people feel sorry for him but others are pissed.
He wouldn't take any other kind of job even though his two children were going hungry.
There were many jobs for him to choose from but he wouldn't take one because it would've paid less money.
He couldn't find work as a scientist and refused to get a different job.
He suffered the consequences and now he's homeless and he sobs.
Being a scientist paid a lot of money and he would not settle for anything less.
When social services learned about the terrible situation, his life became a mess.
He wouldn't even think about taking a lower paying job because he was overqualified.
Because of his selfishness, proper nourishment was something his kids were denied.
Social services took away his kids and placed them in a foster home.
The man's wife passed away a few years earlier and now he's all alone.
A lower paying job would've put food on the table and paid the bills but he would not make such a sacrifice.
He felt that he was too good for a lower paying job and when he lost both of his children, he paid the price.
He put his ego and greed above his kids needs and it was so sad.
He lost his children because he was declared to be an unfit dad.
