Poem -
Union
I ask myself how my heart could have felt as it did,
With melancholy, just concealing what had to be hid.
It was searching everywhere for all that it hadn't got,
Requiring a passion to finally bring an end to its lot !
My heart didn't expect anything to change suddenly.
Unfulfilled hopes meant it was caught by conformity.
Where was the zeal and edge to make it skip a beat ?
Where was the freshest love it sorely wanted to meet ?
Then, as all seemed lost it found what it yearned for.
It became one with yours escaping loneliness evermore.
Now, a desire burns which I know was supposed to be.
My heart in union discovered pure and simple destiny.
