To the Unknown God

You, who created all creatures

That roam free in this universe. 

You, the father of time and music,

To the starry firmaments you dwell.

I praise you with my action,

By finding what you hide,

By living my life with smiles,

And I know, you are only one!

Nor divided, Nor amplified.

You exist, not by book,

Not by hearsay or magic.

But, In nature I felt your prescence 

In wind, I heard your voice

The air that gives me life

In my fellow I see your face,

In kindness, I see your actions.

You the unknown rules without hate,

nor gave promises, only assurance

That, at the end you will carry my body and soul,

through space, through time, through eternity.

I, who is not your servant, but your son

By hymn, by poetry, by your wondorous arts

Shall forever praise your name!

For you gave all I've asked for

In your altar called the Earth.
