Poem -

unrecognizable soul

I am the shadows that fall with the night,
I am the sun that brings morning light,
I am the soul of a newborn baby,
I am the strength in the hand of an old lady,
I am the strong chime of a Church bell,
I am a witch that cast a spell,
I am all but myself,
For i don't know who i am, or what i should do,
This is all because of you,
You took away the person i once knew,
And replaced her with an unrecognizable soul.

this poem speaks to a deep division within the self. it also speaks to a person who knows that she is at a distance from herself.
