UNSEEN

The sun oft now might speak a
word
Whilst peeping light from
winter cloud
Says mortal, thou who leaks
despair
Look closer at the unseen air
Take lessons from my
sometimes ray
Who might yet sleep the cold
away
But do I not return in time
To rise and rise and rise and
shine?
And, may you enquire
Where tis I rest, while
Winter rain's her icy best, or
Should you queryÂ
Where I go
Whilst autumn's colours shed her woe
Well mortal say I this to you
Tis cycles of life's coloured hue
Where fates are dealt nay
wrong nor fair
And truths abound in unseen
air

Hi Marion. Beautiful piece đź’ś
Wow so brilliantly penned my lovely poetic friend 💕❤️💕
This is simply outstanding, Marion. I love the juxtaposition of something almost insignificant (mere mortal) and the great and godlike (the sun) to explore any type of meaning that life may hold. Truly outstanding x
