UNTIDY CLOTHES SINGING MAN

I always cry when I happen to see his face
The untidy clothes he wears always out of place
Holes are in his trousers and also in his shoes
Hat by his side as he starts singing the blues

I don't know how this man ended up this way
Untidy clothes but a voice to brighten your day
Where does he go when the day is over and done
Is he maybe somebody's father, husband or son

The untidy clothes man is a character of my city
His hat is his cash register but nothing in the kitty
Leave some money in but that's your choice
Appreciate his talent and admire fondly his voice
