Point of view

While I could never smileĀ
I don't want you rehearsing my point of view.
If you could see what I see
Life wouldn't needĀ
Such tendency.
Ā
Now if my straw's a little shortĀ
It's only becauseĀ
I'm battling.
Never worried things wouldn't work out.
I'm mostly excepting.
Ā
Anonymous acknowledgements
In the street from strangersĀ
Put my mind at ease.
My idea's are a little behindĀ
Of where they ought to be.
Ā
But I double downĀ
To discover a realer reality.
I get out from underneath the life that's built up
For the sake of me.

Not only do I see the bright side of life I see triumph determination and acceptance. Wonderful poetry my friend, we all have a unique spark š¹Ā
I remember being told once, People are different. It's true, sometimes I struggle with this. It just seems more energy conserving to see people as all the same. To celebrate everybody's difference comes at one's own cost. You have to be selective, don't you?
Of course we do, we cannot like everyone and everyone cannot like us. It's a part of life. As long as we like ourselves then it's all good. š¹Ā
In the past I've known to be to myself over critical, it's true. I think I can be a worrier. But I supposed I've always had a soft spot in my heart for me, sometimes even to the disclusion of others.Ā
'I get out from underneath the life that's built up
For the sake of me.'
these lines are truly relevant for me. x
I can see that. Probably mean it only half as much as you feel it
