Unwell (A poem written for a work colleague)

You’re not feeling well today

If I could, I’d take your sickness away

Like that bloke does in The Green Mile

Anything I can do to make you smile

Would make me smile from ear to ear

But more importantly

It would mean that you were here

Filling my days with beauty and distraction

Get well soon, my endless attraction
