Up in Arms

Up in Arms

If you can smoke it       you can drink it
If you can drink it         you can eat it
So they light up           a pipe
I thought flatulence
was indent enough
to let the universe       know
you're still here
How about
we light a candle?       No?
It's the confection       isn't it...
not to let a pin drop
during the mass          ive
drama at which
they gawk                  religiously
Dark, milk, white       and ruby
Hazelnut, toffee        and caramel
(all of us)
flambe-bruleed
in a world that           drowns
in media milk and honey
and silk and              money
and
paper and                 metal
and rubber                and plastic
insane                       and methane
"If you can't               eat your cake
and have it too,         blow it up!"
