Upon a river
The sunlight dances
And I remember you
Upon a river
Dancing
Sparkling
With the summer sun
Then running out
Your eyes a'shiver

All the winters yet to come
And come they did
Too soon, they come...
The winters

The memories of the summers are always worth clinging on to. I love the word choices in this poem. Words like sunlight and sparkling and dances and a shiver all make the word winter more cold and dark and lonely. Beautiful, clever writing x
